Apple is spoiling this generation of designers, asserts designer Howard Nourmand. Its the genius toolall you need to supply is the idea. Nourmand used the Mac to turn his idea into the title sequence for the film The Dog Problem. He admits, though, that, once he got the idea, I didnt know how I was going to do it. But he did know that if I sit down and try to figure it out, theres always a way on the Mac. That way involved a cornucopia of software products: Aperture, Adobe Illustrator, Final Cut Pro, QuickTime Pro, even iChat. Im not some techie geek, confesses Nourmand. We didnt do any programming. This was all right out of the box. There are so many ways to use the Mac and the applications. Its limitless.
