Confirmed: Walmart to begin selling iPhone 3G Sunday

According to an official Walmart announcement, the company will begin selling Apple’s iPhone 3G beginning Sunday, December 28.
Unfortunately the iPhone will not be sold for $99 as many of us had hoped, instead it will be retailing for merely $2 less than Apple’s price, $197 (8GB) and 297 (16GB.)
