Unlike many role-playing games, Fable does not place you in a predetermined role, with a specific path to follow. Rather, you have many decisions to make between good and evil actions. As you undertake quests and your renown in the world known as Albion grows, your appearance becomes more beatific or more demonic, depending on your inclinations. You can also develop your character"s magical or physical abilities, or both, as you see fit.
