Quick Tip of the Week: Creating Zip files

You can use Zip, a popular file format, to compress and archive files you have on your Mac. Use it, for example, to archive a group of files and preserve space on your hard drive. Got a large Keynote 08 presentation youd like to send someone via email? Make a smaller version of it with Zip. Thanks to Mac OS X, it takes only a few seconds to create a Zip file.
